Hannelore K. Welch

Our beloved mother Hannelore (Lore) K. Welch passed away peacefully from this Earth to live in Eternity with our Heavenly Father and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 23, 2024. Lore was born on November 19, 1939 in Mannheim, Germany and was the daughter of Emil and Katharina Kuenzler.
She was a resident of Manchester since 1968 and previously of Long Island. She was an active member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church and served on several of their committees as well as in the community during her lifetime.
Lore was devoted to her children and a true and kind friend to all who knew her and enjoyed her optimistic, joyful spirit. She retired after 34 ½ years of service as a Human Resources Professional at St. Francis Hospital Medical Center.
Lore is survived by her loving daughters, Suzanne and her husband Joe and Pamela and her husband Mario, her beloved granddaughter, Amanda and great grandchildren, Ava and Joey, who were the lights of her life in her later years. She is also survived by her brother Wolfgang and his wife Paula as well as nieces, nephews and family members in Germany.
She was predeceased by her parents and loving sisters Elfriede and Lieselotte.
Friends and family may come to say farewell to our mother and Nani at Holmes Watkins Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 29th from 9am till 10:30am with a short Memorial Service from 10:30am till 11am.
