Grieta Klegeris

Grieta "Zenija" (Trinitis) Klegeris, 95, wife of the late Voldemars Klegeris, died Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital. She resided in Manchester for over 50 years. She was born in Grobina, Latvia, the daughter of the late Mikelis and Lize Trinitis. Zenija was a member of the American Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manchester. She was known in Manchester as the "Cake Lady". Zenija would make her famous Latvian Torte for the Manchester Community at the Latvian Churchs Christmas Bazars. Zenija is survived by a sister, Dagmara Ziedins of Ontario, Canada, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews in the United States, Canada and Latvia. She was predeceased by four brothers, Adolfs, Sasa, Zanis, Edgars and one sister, Minna. There are no calling hours. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
