Gordon L. Ferrin

Gordon L. Ferrin, 62 a lifelong resident of Manchester, beloved son of Lois S. Ferrin of Manchester and the late Earl Ferrin passed away Thursday May 4, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. Also surviving is his sister Sandra J. Ferrin of Manchester two aunts, Phyllis Gordon of Manchester, Audrey St. Pierre of Florida and numerous cousins and their families. Besides his father he was predeceased by a brother David E. Ferrin. Gordon was born in Manchester on October 8, 1954, graduating from Manchester High School Class of 1972. After graduating, he served his country with the United States Air Force for four years. Prior to his ill health, he was employed as a freight truck driver for several years. He was a member of South United Methodist Church. Gordon was especially concerned about adding on a sun room at his family home, he constructed a sturdy addition that he and his family are proud of and have enjoyed for many years. Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 9, at 11 am at the Holmes Funeral Home 400 Main Street, Manchester. Burial will follow in East Cemetery.
