George C. "Joe" Domina, 70, of Manchester, beloved husband of the late Shirley A. (Sargent) Domina, died unexpectedly Monday January 26, 2015 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. George was born December 20, 1944 in Newport, VT., son of the late Camille & Thelma (Duff) Domina, he was U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He was a heavy equipment operator and job foreman and had worked for many construction companies in the area. He has been semi-retired for the past two years. He is survived by two daughters, Lori Domina of Bloomfield and Cheryl Stout and her companion David Daigle also of Bloomfield, two brothers, Wayne Domina of East Hartford, Paul Domina of Chicopee, MA., two sisters, Lorraine Percy of Newport, VT. Ethel Crumm of Easley, SC., his sister-in-law Betty Sargent of Lyndonville, VT. and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Donald Domina and sister Pauline Domina. Calling hours will be held Thursday February 5, 2015 from 4-7 PM at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester.
