F. Claire (Cooley) Tralli, 87 of Manchester, wife of the late Rocco "Rocky" Tralli, died peacefully in her sleep Sunday, July 31, 2016 at her home.
Claire was born on January 28, 1929 in Waterbury, CT. Daughter of Bernard and Anne Cooley, she lived most of her life in Manchester and graduated from Manchester High School. In the 1960's she owned and operated the U-2 restaurant in Manchester's North End Depot. She was employed at the former K-Mart Store in Manchester for many years and was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Manchester Senior Center. She organized the senior breakfast club which she attended every Friday morning. Claire was a communicant of St. Bridget Church in Manchester and was a long time volunteer for Bingo night at St. Joseph's Church in Rockville.
Claire celebrated 49 years of marriage with her beloved husband Rocky. She is survived by her daughter and son, Carolann Daigle and her husband Gil of Manchester, Thomas Tralli and his wife Rosemary of Glastonbury; four grandchildren, Nicole Daigle and her husband Dan Gryzb, Nancy Proano and her husband Miguel, Justin Tralli, and Melissa Calamita and her husband Paul; six great-grandchildren, Owen and Spencer Kuca, Samantha and Katherine Calamita, and Elena and Emily Proano.
Memorial visiting hours are Monday, August 15, from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester with a prayer service at 8:00 PM. A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 16, at St. Bridget Cemetery, 180 Oakland Street in Manchester.
