Ferdinand A. Lagos, 44, of Manchester, loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend died tragically after a paddleboard accident on Monday, June 13, 2016. Ferdinand was born on February 14, 1972 in Cuzco, Peru son of Alejandrina Lagos and Rogelio Arohuanca. He came to the United States in 2003 and had resided in Manchester since 2009. Ferdinand was a Teacher for the New Jersey Conference of Seventh Day Adventist Church. Ferdinand was a talented musician, loved all forms of art and had a passion for mathematics. He was also charming, social and funny. He never stopped learning and experiencing life to the fullest. In addition to his parents, Ferdinand is survived by his two daughters: Isabella and Camilla Lagos; his paternal grandmother Noemi Sosa; maternal grandfather Javier Lagos; his three brothers: Wilson Lagos and his wife Patricia Gorritti; Delmar Arohuanca and his wife Judith Sanchez; Elder Arohuanca and his wife Areli Arohuanca; and only sister Emilse Arohuanca and her husband Luis; several nieces, nephews and his former wife Karina Flores. Ferdinand was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Gumersinda Fernandez and his paternal grandfather Benjamin Arohuanca. A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Maranatha Hispanic Seventh-day Adventist Church, 447 North Main St. Manchester.
