Esther Kaiser

Esther Johanna Holmes Schmeelk Kaiser, 96, peacefully fell asleep in death on December 17, 2023. Esther was born on June 18, 1927, living most of her life in Connecticut. Esther was a kind, loving, and mild-tempered Daughter, Sister, Wife, and Mother. Esther was a fine example for all who knew her. We, her brothers and sisters of the Stafford Springs Congregation, joyfully anticipate seeing her again in the promised resurrection! (John 5:28,29) Esther was an active member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 82 years. Her love for Jehovah gave her the strength to overcome her trials, to endure the challenges and to celebrate in the joys of her life! Esther was predeceased by her parents; Ward & Signe Holmes, brother; Clarence N Holmes. Her 1st husband; Albert T Schmeelk, their beloved daughter; Evelyn P Schmeelk. Her 2nd husband; William F Kaiser. She is survived by her sister in law; Anna K Holmes, niece; Linda, & Brian Lazarski and Family, all of St. Albans, VT, & other nephews and nieces. Special thanks to the Staff at Evergreen Health Care and those of Maple Lane for the kindness extended to our dear Esther. A Memorial will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 1pm, at the Stafford Springs Kingdom Hall, 79 Crystal Lake Rd., Stafford Springs, Ct 06076. A reception will follow at the West Stafford Fire Department, We would love to have you share your memories with us.
