Erna (Hofman) Nash, 92 of Manchester, widow of Howard L. Nash, died Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at an area convalescent home.
She was born September 9, 1922 in Nuremburg, Germany, daughter of Konrad and Marie Hofman. She emmigrated to the United States in the late 1940's and had been a resident of Manchester since 1953. Erna was a longtime member of the Second Congregational Church and a member of the church sewing group.
Erna is survived by a son and daughter, Erwin R. "Ed" Nash of Dennisport, MA, and Evelyn N. Rogers of Hickory, NC. She also leaves a grandson, Scott Rogers in North Carolina.
A private graveside service will be held in the Buckland Cemetery in Manchester. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Congregational Church, 385 North Main Street, Manchester, CT 06042.
