Emily H. Bostick

Emily (Howard) Bostick, age 96 of Manchester, wife of the late Dudley S. "Dud" Bostick, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at a local convalescent home.
Emily was born in Springfield, MA on April 10, 1919, daughter of Chester and Jane (White) Howard, and lived most of her life in Manchester. She was a former employee of the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Company in East Hartford and was a former member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Manchester. After their retirement in the 1970's, she and her husband resided for six months every year in Naples, FL and loved to play cards with their friends and neighbors.
She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth B. "Betty" Harmon and her husband Richard of Glastonbury, and Janyce H. Buell of Santa Rosa, CA; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held in the East Cemetery in Manchester. There are no calling hours.
