Elvina H. Balch, 90 of Bolton, beloved wife of 67 years to Norman Balch, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at her home. Elvina was born in Manchester, April 2, 1925 daughter of the late Willard and Florence (Bunce) Horton. She was raised in Manchester and worked at Conn. Mutual Life Insurance Company for 15 years, prior to starting her family. She moved to Bolton, lived there for more than 50 years, where she was a longtime active member of Bolton Congregational Church and a soprano singer in the church choir. In years past, she was an avid Ten Pin bowler. In addition to her husband, Elvina is survived by a daughter, Wendy Mancini of Enfield, three grandchildren, Angela Mancini Pastomerlo, Allison Mancini, Albert Norman Mancini and a great-granddaughter, Savana Codere. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Myrtis Bagley and a son-in-law, Albert J. Mancini. A private graveside burial service was held in Buckland Cemetery, Manchester.
