Elise F. (O'Donnell) James, 77, of Dayville, formerly of Manchester, beloved wife of the late Bruce H. James passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018. She was born on August 7, 1940 in Providence, RI daughter of the late Edward and Elise (Robidoux) O'Donnell. Elise was a graduate of Manchester High School, Class of 1958. She was employed for over 28 years as a Customer Service Consultant with the Traveler's Insurance Company in Hartford until retiring in 2000. Elise was a former member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Manchester. She is survived by her two sons; Michael James and his wife Laurie of Broad Brook, David James and his daughter Hailee James of Dayville with whom Elise made her home, three daughters; Linda Mozeak of Wales, MA, Debra Beckius and her husband Robert of Simsbury and Carissa James and her fianc Alan Willard of Fall River, MA. Elise also leaves her fourteen loving and special grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and her brother Edward O'Donnell of Melbourne, FL. In addition to her husband and parents Elise was predeceased by a brother Robert O'Donnell. Funeral services and burial in East Cemetery, Manchester are private. There are no calling hours. A celebration of Elise's life will be at a place, date and time to be announced in the near future. Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home in Manchester has care of the arrangements.
