Elerine I Jarvis

My dear beloved mother, Elerine ("Ella") Isadora Jarvis (nee Francis) of Manchester CT passed onto glory on 10/6/24.
Ella was born in Green Bay, Antigua to Eugenie and Victor Francis. She was their last child.
She attended Christ The King High School in Antigua. She was employed by the Antiguan Electrical Services and the Magistrates Court before pursuing her dream to migrate to the USA in 1971. Ella settled in Brooklyn NY with her husband Correll Jarvis and had her one and only son, Dave.
She gained employment with Hartford Insurance Company, where she gave over 30 years of devoted service. This included a relocation to Manchester CT, where she resided for over 45 years.
She retired from The Hartford in 2004 and found great joy in serving her Jesus with her church family at FGIC, traveling to see family, helping others in need within the USA and overseas and loving on her 3 grandchildren.
She is survived by her beloved son Dave Correll Jarvis, daughter-in-law Jeramee Jarvis, her beloved granchildren Dasia, Mikka and Miles, her precious nieces Adlyn, Alice and Kathy, brothers John, Rupert and Roland, her dear friends and the loving family at FGIC and a multitude of extended family in England, Antigua, New York and Florida.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Ella's life on Saturday, October 26th at Holmes Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester, CT. Family will welcome guests from 12-1p followed by a homegoing service at 1pm.
