Edwin Worthington

Edwin Charles Worthington, 77, of Manchester, CT passed away peacefully in his
home Wednesday, August 14, 2019. Born in Hartford, CT to the late Milford and
Emma Pauline (Hellstrom) Worthington. He was raised in East Hartford and was a
Veteran of the US Marine Corps. Edwin retired from Bradco Supply Corporation
after 30 years. His pride and joy was his 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible which he
enjoyed going to car shows with. He loved spending time with his children and
grandchildren and he never missed a New York Yankees game. Along with his
parents, Edwin was predeceased by his brother David Worthington. Edwin is
survived by his 3 children Jennifer Worthington of Manchester, CT, Amy
Worthington and Brian Worthington both of East Hartford, CT, grandchildren
Jordan and Jocelyn; great granddaughter Lillian. He also leaves his sisters Sandy
Burnham and her husband Richard of Manchester, Mary Petro and her husband
Ronald of Lebanon; sister-in-law Tracy Worthington of Glastonbury; as well as many
nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 5-7:00PM at
Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main St. Manchester, CT 06040. Committal
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Flowers are welcome
or Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Dr,
Suite 900 Arlington, VA 22202.
