Edwin C. Bunce

Edwin C. Bunce, 88, of Coventry, formerly of Manchester, beloved husband of the late Audrey (Helm) Bunce died on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at a local convalescent home. He was born on May 24, 1927 in Manchester son of the late Olive and Edwin C. Bunce Sr. Ed was raised in Manchester, attended local schools and had been a resident of Coventry since 1963. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the US Army. He was employed with DeCormier Motor Sales in Manchester for over 38 years, retiring in 1992 as a Parts Manager. Ed is survived by his son, Thomas H. Bunce of Coventry, his sister, Beverly Daniels of Melbourne, FL and her family. In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Karen Bunce, his two brothers, Russell and Alfred Bunce and his sister, Alice Stocks. Private burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Vernon. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater CT.
