Edith Rochelle (Sciaretta) Sirianni, 103, formerly of Manchester, passed away peacefully on November 16th, three weeks shy of her 104th birthday. When her youngest went into high school, Edith returned to school and received a certificate in Bookkeeping at Manchester Community College, thereafter going to work for the Johnson Paint Company on Main Street for many years.

She also volunteered at the Penny Saver, a Manchester nonprofit that donated all proceeds to Manchester Memorial Hospital. In addition, she volunteered at the hospital, where she served for over twenty-five years in several different positions, her favorite being the gift shop where she could help people pick out the perfect gift for their hospitalized loved ones. In her spare time, Edith enjoyed bowling, walking for exercise, and spending time with her grandchildren.
