Donna Lowd (née Bryant), 75, passed away on February 25, 2025, in Willimantic, Connecticut. Born on March 6, 1949, in Manchester, Connecticut, she lived a life filled with passion, dedication, and love for those around her.
Donna pursued her education at Central Connecticut State University, earning both a teaching degree and a master's degree in Special Education. Her commitment to learning and education shaped her career and left a lasting impact in those she encountered.
She found joy in many pursuits including her horses, quilting, gardening, and spending time at the beach with her grandsons. In her healthier years she loved roller skating, dirt biking, pony pulls and always had a special place in her heart for strays.
She is survived by her daughter Rachel Venti, along with Rachel's husband Jim and their son's Tyler and Aidan. She also leaves behind her fiancé, Patrick Lewis. She was predeceased by her parents, Earle and Elnora Bryant; her husband Wayne Lowd; and her son, Matthew Lowd.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on March 1, 2025, from 4pm-7pm at Donna & Pat's residence, located at 19 Seckar Rd., Willington, Connecticut.
Donna's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
