Donald Charles Ladone

February 22, 1993 — June 29, 2025

With deepest sorrow and infinite love, we share that our precious son, Donald Charles
Ladone, was taken from us on June 29, 2025. His light—though far too brief—touched
everyone who knew him.

Donny was born in Manchester, Connecticut, on February 22, 1993. He had the most beautiful
smile, an unforgettable laugh, and a personality that could light up any room. Donny loved
his family deeply. He had the biggest heart—kind, caring, and endlessly loving.

He is survived by his loving parents, Jeffrey and Darlene Ladone of Somers, CT, currently
residing in Maine; his brother, Kyle Ladone of Nevada; and his beloved fiancée, Colleen
Almadovar of Massachusetts. Donny was also a proud and loving 'bonus dad' to Alysha,
Nathaniel, and his best buddy Americus “Mer,” who were truly inseparable.

Donny also leaves behind his daughter, Briana Dawn Ladone love and legacy in her heart.

He is survived by his grandmother, Bertha 'Peggy' Fregeau; his aunt Christine Rodriguez;
uncles Daryl Fregeau and Joe Ladone; and many cousins and friends who cherished him
deeply.

He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Donald J. Ladone and Charles G. Fregeau; his
grandmother Lucille Ladone; and his aunt Linda Ladone.

Donny graduated from Somers High School, Somers, CT, and later from Lincoln Tech, where he studied
motorcycles—his true passion. He worked for a time at MGM and held various positions over
the years, always bringing his charm and work ethic wherever he went.

Donny loved life. He was a huge NASCAR fan, traveling all over the country with his mom
and dad to attend as many races as he could. He also loved wrestling, riding his
motorcycles, sunsets, beach days, camping, fishing, hiking—he truly enjoyed every moment
and found joy in everything he did.

Donny had a vibrant spirit and a wonderful sense of humor. He had everyone laughing with
his stories, jokes, and playful energy. He filled every space he entered with warmth and
laughter.

His laughter will echo in our hearts forever. Though we must say goodbye for now, we will
carry his spirit always.

A celebration of Donny’s life will be held after the birth of his daughter. The date and
time will be announced at a later time.

Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester, CT
