Dolores L. (Laurinaitis) Tuttle, 83, of Vernon, beloved partner & wife of 40 years to James B. Tuttle passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday, July 21, 2015. She was born on April 4, 1932 in Wethersfield daughter of the late George V. and Wilhelmina (Kilby) Laurinaitis. Dolores was raised in Wethersfield, attended local schools and was a graduate of Wethersfield High School, Class of 1950. She earned her BA from University of New Haven and a MBA from the University of Hartford. Dolores was employed for over 35 years with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft retiring in 1991 as a General Foreman. Dolores filled her retirement with many activities, such as being a member of the Red Hat Society, an avid word search and scrabble player, world traveling, spending winters in Florida, her cats, gardening, snowmobiling, cross stitch and knitting. She found the most joy and fulfillment in spending time with her family. In addition to her husband James, she is survived by her three children, their families and former husband Sebastian Luistro Jr.; her daughter, Mary-Lynn Hanley and her husband, James of Attleboro, MA and their children; Elizabeth Snider and her husband, Craig and their children; Jacob, Cary, Lily, Jackson and Marielle Snider; Sarah Burstein and her husband, James and their children, Aaron and Noah Burstein; Alexandra Pielech and her husband, Brad and their children; Abigail and Benjamin Pielech, and Timothy Hanley. Her daughter, Christie Wilson and her fiance, Ed Donofrio of South Windsor and her children; Ashley Wilson and Josh Niemczyk and their daughter Aubrey; Matthew Wilson; Caitlin Wilson and Brendan Luman and their children, Olivia, Camden and Brynn and Adam Wilson. Her son, Glenn Tuttle of Brunswick, GA and his children; Dan Hills and his wife, Christina Bennett-Hills; Nikki Noble and her husband Rob Noble; Ryan, Shane, and Riley Tuttle and Christina Tuttle-Medina and her husband, Johan Medina and their children; Johan Medina Jr. and Naomi Medina. She also leaves her former daughter-in-law, Susan Tuttle and her brothers, Bradley Beeler and James Beeler and his wife, Barbara. In addition to her parents Dolores was predeceased by her son James B. Tuttle Jr. and her brother, Brian Beeler. The family would like to express sincere thanks to our dear neighbors Sally and Sarah and the Hartford Hospital Cardiac Unit. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 2-4 pm at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St. Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Bartholomew Church, 45 Ludlow Road, Manchester. (Everyone is asked to go directly to the church.)
