Dolores Lewis

Dolores Ogren Lewis from Enfield, CT, at the age of 83, died Friday February 9th at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Dolores was born December 10, 1940 in Manchester, CT to Albert and Agnes Ogren. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Joseph P Lewis, her daughter, Debra Lewis and two brothers William and Al Ogren. Dolores was a graduate of Manchester High School class of 1958. She was a devoted wife, and the mother of three children before taking on several jobs such as daycare provider, helping Joseph with his business and secretarial services for many companies. Dolores family was most important to her and gave her great joy. Her infectious smile and blue eyes were admired by many. She also enjoyed sewing her famous Cozies which she shared with family and friends and participated at various crafts fairs. She is survived by her son Donald Lewis (Jane), daughter Cyndy Szalontai (Curt), five grandchildren, Jennifer Lewis Stevens (Zachary), Andrew and Julia Hlobik, Albert and Sarah Lewis in addition to two great granddaughters, Everly and Lucia. Services will be held Friday, February 16, 2024 between the hours of 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at Manchester Funeral Home, 142 East Center Street, Manchester, CT with internment immediately following at East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Dolores' name to a charity of your choice.
