Diane M. Calve

November 3, 1943 — May 28, 2015

Diane M. (Dinallo) Calve, 71, of Bolton and formerly of Manchester, beloved wife of the late John J. Calve, died Thursday May 28, 2015 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. She was born November 3, 1943 in Hartford, daughter of the late Raymond & Olga (Jacobs) Dinallo. Diane grew up in Manchester attending local schools and was a 1961 Graduate of Manchester High School. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and quilting and loved to bird watch in the neighborhood. Prior to her retirement she had been with the Bolton Board of Education as a Secretary at Bolton Center School for over 20 years. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Raymond A. & Hope Calve of Coventry, John A. & Jamie Calve of Manchester, six grandchildren, Brandon, Tori both of Coventry, Erica, Trevor, Jacob and Joshua all of Manchester, three great grandchildren, Lorelei, Claire and Madison all of Manchester. Other survivors include her mother-in-law Elsie Calve of Manchester. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her son Dale J. Calve. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Oncology floor at the DeQuattro Community Cancer Center for the wonderful care shown to Diane during her time with them. Funeral services will be held at graveside on Tuesday June 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Westminster K-2 section of the East Cemetery in Manchester. There are no calling hours.
