Darlene (Palmer) Morgan, 67, of Coventry, beloved wife of 43 years of Donald A. Morgan passed away at Manchester Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. She was born on November14, 1950 in Hartford, daughter of the late Roy S. Palmer Sr. and Barbara (Couch) Palmer. Darlene was employed for over 24 years as a supervisor at the Manchester Toys "R" Us as well as having been the secretary at Second Congregational Church in Manchester. She was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church in Coventry. In addition to her husband she leaves her son and daughter-in-law Christopher and Deborah Morgan and their children; Owen Shane Morgan and Lydia Siobhan Morgan all of Coventry, her four siblings; Barbara "Cookie" Crue and her husband Raymond "Frank" Crue of Oxford, MI., Roy S. Palmer Jr. and his wife Beverly of Casselberry, FL., Keith Palmer and his wife Lynn of Willington and Leslie Bycholski of Manchester, several nieces, nephews and their families and many wonderful friends. Family and friends are welcome to attend a time of visitation at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main St. in Manchester on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 5:30-7:30pm with a service to begin at 7:30 pm.
