Cynthia M. Wilson

Cynthia M. Wilson, 80 of Manchester, beloved wife of the late James D. Wilson, passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 at home with her family at her side. Cynthia was born on April 20, 1934 in Stratford, daughter of Alfred N. and Annabelle L. (Crossman) Millington. She attended local schools, graduating from high school and Hartford Hospital School of Radiograghy. She worked for several years as a Radiology Technician at Hartford Hospital. Cynthia moved to Manchester in 1962 with her husband to raise their family, and later was a bookkeeper at Don Willis Garage Inc., and M & R Package Store. She was a longtime member, treasurer and choir member of Second Congregational Church in Manchester. Cynthia is survived by her loving family, two daughters, Lorie Sanchez and her husband, Rene of Manchester, Sheila Sadlowski and her husband, Dan of Manchester, four grandchildren, Amber, Shannon, Michael, Jessica, a sister-in-law, Virginia Millington, several nieces and nephews and their families, extended family members, Pat and Jim Dygert and their children. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by a brother, David Millington and a sister, Jean Gregory. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 7:30 pm at Holmes Funeral Home 400 Main St. Manchester. Burial will be private in East Cemetery, Manchester. Calling hours will be Thursday prior to the service from 6 pm - 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
