Constance Connelly

Constance (Fontana) Connelly, 79, Widow of Delbert Connelly, passed away on February 5th, 2023. Born to the late Edward and Marjorie Fontana, Constance graduated from Manchester High School. She worked at the Aetna where she met her husband Del. They were married in 1966 and together raised three children. In her retirement, she traveled with her husband to the Bahamas and Ireland. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her three granddaughters who held a special place in her heart. She is survived by her son James Connelly (Tracy), daughters Kathleen Foley (Mark) and Michelle Hoffman (Michael). Granddaughters Erin Connelly (Derrick), Nicole Connelly and Samantha Hoffman. She also leaves her sister, Diane Fontana of Texas, Sister-in-law Sandra Kennedy of Vernon. Nieces: Eileen Skidgel of Vernon, Sarah Zwarick of Ellington, Kate Dumond of Texas. Nephews: Todd Zwarick of New York and Edward Kennedy of Vernon and Steven Fecinta of Windsor Locks, along with several great-nieces and great-nephews. Also special friends Mary and Stanley Ostrinsky of Manchester, Kathy and Bob Berzenski of Manchester, and Bunty Swanson of Ontario, Canada. Burial will be private. A celebration of Constance's life will be held at a later date.
