Charlotte Dowd Howe

Charlotte (Dowd) Howe, 86, of Talcottville, beloved wife of the late Robert W. Howe Sr. died peacefully on Monday, September 26, 2016 with her family at her side. She was born on November 22, 1929 in Manchester, NH daughter of the late John and Lea (Boisvert) Dowd. Charlotte had been a resident of Warehouse Point, Enfield and Manchester before moving to Talcottville in 1978. She was a Bookkeeper for Dillon Ford in Manchester for many years and more recently was a child care provider for The Children's Place. Charlotte is survived by her three children; Robert W. Howe Jr. and his wife Donna of Tolland, Cheryl Eremita and her husband Michael of Bolton and Donna Thompson of Talcottville, her brother Richard Dowd and his wife Phyllis and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren; Jennifer Frank and her husband Neal, Kendra Allen and her husband David, Robert W. Howe III, Alyssa Howe, Michael Eremita and his wife Sara, Aimee Eremita and Christopher Thompson and his wife Jocelyn and fourteen loving great-grandchildren; Rebekah, Casey, Jessica, Jack, Madelyn, Robert, Nathan, Joshua, Brendan, Zachary, Ryan, Michael, Annie and Joseph. Family and friends are welcome to attend a time of visitation at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St. Manchester on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 10-11 am with a prayer service to begin at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Talcottville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G.
