Charles J. ''Joe' 'Cj'' Miller

Joe "CJ" Miller, 68, of Bolton, beloved husband of Denise E. (Lindstrom) Miller, died unexpectedly Friday evening, January 15, 2016. He was born on December 12, 1947 in San Francisco, CA., and was the son of the late Edward Beecher Miller & Marie Filomena (Morano) Miller. He was a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran who served during the Vietnam War and was working as a Special Projects Supervisor with Syntac Coated Products of New Hartford. A resident of Bolton since 1994, Joe loved the ocean, he could find humor in anything, and he was an avid gardener who enjoyed cooking his harvest and sharing his meals with others. Most of all he was a dedicated family man. In addition to his loving wife he is survived by three daughters, Charity A. Miller of Stamford, Tina M. Knowles and her husband Keith of Bolton and Megan E. Miller of Manchester. He was the proud grandfather of Kyler A. Knowles, Emma-Marie E. Knowles and Aubrey L. Knowles. He was predeceased by his son Charles J. Miller Jr., Funeral services will be held Friday January 22, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 1600 Main St., Coventry. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
