Charles W. Froh Jr

Charles W. Froh Jr., 87 of Manchester, husband of the late Charlotte (Worgan) Froh, died Friday, March 24, 2017 at a local convalescent home.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 7, 1929, son of Charles W. and Vera L. Froh, and came to Manchester when he was ten years old. He served in the US Navy from 1946 to 1948, graduated from Colgate University and received a law degree from the University of Connecticut. Prior to retiring in 1990 Charles was an attorney for the Aetna Insurance Company for thirty eight years. Charles was an avid golfer and a proud member of Wethersfield Country Club for many years.
Charles is survived by his son and daughter, Craig W. Froh and his wife Jackie Bridgeman-Froh of Bolton, Charlotte F. Adams and her husband Robert of Palm Bay, FL; four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, Sarah MacDonald and Pamela Murphy of Manchester, Brian Froh of Denver, Co, Ashley Froh of Keene, NH, and Gage and Sydney Bridgeman of Manchester; his brother, Phillip Froh and his wife Marcia of Groton Long Point, and a niece and nephew, Gwen Dowd and Richard Froh
Funeral services and burial with military honors in the East Cemetery in Manchester will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fidelco Guide Dogs at www.fidelco.org .
