Charlene M. DeCioccio, 66 of Manchester, beloved daughter of the late Ernest C. and Zoe (Stanton) DeCioccio passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford. Charlene was born July 21, 1950 in Brisbane Australia QLD. and came to the United States as a young girl. She graduated from Manchester High School Class of 1969 and had resided in Manchester for most of her life. She retired after 20 years from Travelers Insurance Company as a secretary. After retirement she work for five years at Stop & Shop in Manchester and also volunteered for five years at Manchester Memorial Hospital operating the Coffee Bar at the main entrance. She was a parishioner of St. James Church, an avid Red Sox and UConn Women's Basketball fan and enjoyed all holiday's with family. Charlene is survived by her loving family, two sisters, Francesca Jones and her husband, Trent of North Salem, NY, Zoe Tague and her husband, Joseph of Baldwin, NY, and two brothers, Ronald J. DeCioccio and Daniel S. DeCioccio both of Manchester, numerous nieces, nephews and their families. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Ernie DeCioccio, a step-brother, Donald Malcolm and a step-sister, Judith Perry. A funeral prayer service will be Monday, April 24, at 12 pm at Watkins Funeral Home 142 East Center Street Manchester, with visiting hours prior to the service from 10 am to 12 pm at the funeral home.
