Cecelia N. Buck

Cecelia H. (Noonan) Buck, 95, of West Hartford, formerly of Manchester, beloved wife of 62 years to the late Gordon V. Buck died peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2015. She was born on January 22, 1920 in Hartford, daughter of the late John P. and Celia (Hynes) Noonan. She was raised in Hartford, attended local schools and was a graduate of Weaver High School. Mrs. Buck had been a resident of Manchester for over 60 years. Prior to her retirement as a Supervisor, she was employed for over 25 years at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. Mrs. Buck was a Communicant of St. James Church in Manchester. She is survived by her two daughters; Nancy Catanzaro and her husband, Bruce of Bristol and Mary V. Buck of Ogunquit, ME, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her son and daughter-in-law, George and Donna Buck. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. James Church, 896 Main St. Manchester. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. There are no calling hours.
