Carolyn L. Suchecki

Carolyn L. Suchecki, 70, of Manchester, formerly of Rockville passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014 at a local convalescent home. Carolyn was born on June 23, 1944 in Rockville, daughter of the late Clarence and Lottie (Perzanowski) Suchecki. She was raised in Rockville and had lived in Hartford before moving to Manchester in 1987. She was a graduate of the UConn School of Nursing and was employed for many years as a Registered Nurse for the State of Connecticut Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission. Carolyn retired in 1997 and had been a member of St. John the Baptist Polish National Catholic Church in Manchester. She enjoyed exotic travel, bluegrass music, and local trips with her good friend Georgi. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Daphne Suchecki of Naperville, IL, her nephews, Russell Chaney of Lake Worth, FL and Adam Suchecki of Naperville, IL, two nieces, Robin Chaney of Lake Worth, FL and Sarah Suchecki of Aurora, IL. Carolyn also leaves her aunt, Anne Rzeszutek of East Hampton, MA and her uncle, Stanley Sondej of Westfield, MA and many cousins. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Isch and her nephew, Richard Chaney. Calling hours and a brief memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9 at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester from 10:30-11:30 am. Burial will be private in Westfield, Massachusetts.
