Carmen Mercado Rivera

Carmen Mercado Rivera, age 72, loving mother of six, passed away on, May 6, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimers disease. She was born in 1949 in Anasco Puerto Rico to the late Eleuterio Mercado and late Carpia Rivera and grew up surrounded by her large family; siblings Carmita, Lioba, Matilde, Nestor, Israel, Jorge, Jesus, Georgina, Carlos, Solano and William Mercado. Carmen was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others, and she incorporated that into her motherhood. She always surrounded herself with her friends and family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved. She will be greatly missed by her family especially her children, daughter Lizaida Aquino, her husband Luis Mercado - and Grandchildren - Yael and Yucel Santiago and Yacieliz Mercado, daughter Madelyne Aquino, Grandchild - Karissa Fennimore and 4 great grand kids, daughter Maribel Vazquez and her husband Arnaldo Vazquez and Grandchildren Yaribel and Arnaldo Vazquez Jr., daughter Marisol Resto and her husband Melvin Resto and Grandchildren- Benjamin, Christian, Solimar and Anthony Resto, daughter Carmen Aquino and Grandchildren -Jada and Jalen Robinson, and son Juan Aquino and Katty Sanchez and Grandchildren - Ericka Caban, Destiny, Damian and Jeziah Aquino.
