Bruno P. Aliczi passed away peacefully at the age of 96 on April 22, 2018. He was predeceased by his wife, Lois, grandson, Jeffrey, granddaughter Holly Beth and son in law, Richard. He leaves his son Bob and his wife, Lynn, his daughter, Jill; three grand children; Peter, Christopher, and Laurie and her husband; Tyler, four great grandchildren: Sam, Nolan, Nate and Nora. He was a quiet gentle man with a big heart and will be greatly missed. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester. Bruno was a veteran of the United States Navy during WW II, where he kept the planes in the air. He belonged to the retirees club of Northeast Utilities and served as the treasurer for the South Manchester Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He liked to spend time on the Cape every year with his wife. After retirement he enjoyed several trips to Alaska, San Diego and Hawaii. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to everyone at Crestfield. Their caring compassion was exceptional. Also, thank you to the palliative care he received from the Visiting Nurses and Healthcare Services of CT. At Bruno's request, there will be no calling hours and burial will be private in East Cemetery, Manchester. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
