Beverly B. Zerio

Beverly (Blinn) Zerio, 84, of Manchester, cherished wife of 65 years to Peter R. Zerio, passed away peacefully at Manchester Manor on Thursday, September 22, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born in New Britain, CT on March 20, 1932 daughter of the late Leo and Helen (Gerent) Blinn. Beverly attended schools in Newington and was a 1950 graduate of Newington High School. She then earned her Associate Degree from the former Hillyer College. Beverly was Partner/Secretary for over 40 years for the family business, A. Raymond Zerio & Sons Inc. of Manchester, until her retirement in 2012. She was a parishioner of St. Bridget Church in Manchester. Beverly enjoyed knitting, spending time at her cottage in Mystic, and most of all spending time with her family. In addition to her husband Peter, Beverly is survived by her five sons; Raymond of Manchester, Michael and Debbie of East Hartford, Thomas and Joanne of Manchester, James and Kris of Lebanon and William and Jessica of Manchester, her eight loving grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services and burial were private in St. James Cemetery, Manchester. There were no calling hours.
