Beverly E Reardon

Beverly R. (Erling) Reardon, 80, of South Windsor and formerly of Manchester, beloved wife of the late James Reardon, died peacefully Wednesday October 15, 2014. She was born February 20, 1934 in New Britain, daughter of the late Otto & Fannie (Wedlake) Erling and had lived most of her life in Manchester and South Windsor. Beverly was a 1952 Graduate of New Britain High School and earned a Bachelor degree in Teaching from the former Connecticut State Teachers College in 1956 . She was an avid knitter and sewer and loved Cats. She had been a longtime active member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Vernon. She is survived by three children, Mark J. Garoppolo of Springfield, MA., David E. Garoppolo and his wife Kim of Manchester and Ruth L. Spellman and her husband David also of Manchester. She also leaves three grandchildren, Jason Garoppolo and his wife Soudachanh of Norwich, Gregory Garoppolo of Portland, OR. and Calena Garoppolo and her fianc Ryan Prince of East Hampton and six great grandchildren, Taylor, Anthony, Adriana, Taylor, Isabella and Annabel. Other survivors include three stepchildren and many close friends. Funeral services will be held Wed., October 22nd at 3:00 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 523 Hartford Tnpk, Vernon. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private in the Fairview Cemetery in New Britain.
