Beverly C. Carr

May 26, 1957 — September 28, 2016

Beverly (Copeland) Carr, 59 of Cape Cod, MA, formerly of Andover, left us on September 28, 2016 after suffering from COPD for several years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Friendly to all, funny and compassionate, she was the baby of the family.
Bev grew up first in Manchester, then in Andover, and graduated from RHAM High School. She worked at the former Bidwell Manor as recreation director and later as a custodian for the Manchester Board of Education until her early retirement due to her illness. She was known to show up in a clown costume at her sibling's milestone events, whether it was at their work place or a restaurant.
Bev was married in 1983 to John Carr and had two sons, Jonathan and Justin, both of Manchester, who she loved so much. She later met her soul mate, Dave Botterton, and they have cherished their seventeen years together. They enjoyed many trips to New Hampshire and Maine in Bev's quest to see moose in which they were successful. They relocated to Cape Cod five years ago. Bev truly loved Dave's grandchildren, Sydney, Alana, and Danica (and their parents Cari and Eric) and they loved her. They called her "Grandma Bevs".
With her sons and Dave, she leaves behind her brother Randy Copeland and his wife Bette of Manchester, her sister, Mary Lou Mortlock of Coventry, and her brother, Mark Copeland of Manchester; her nephews and nieces, Rob, Dan, Pat, Kristy, and Lindsey. She was predeceased by her parents, Russell and Marian (Vittner) Copeland, her sister, Judy Adams, and her brother-in-law, Norm Mortlock. Rest in peace, little sister, we love you and will miss you so much.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 4, at 12:00 Noon in the East Cemetery (Section G-Westminster, use the Autumn Street entrance) in Manchester. There are no visiting hours. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
