Betty Tine

Mary "Betty" (Jacobs) Tine, 85, of Manchester, wife of Salvatore Tine passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in Manchester. She was born on January 26, 1932 in St. Albans, VT, to the late Russell E. and Claribelle (Turcotte) Jacobs. Betty lived in Garden Grove, CA for a few years before returning to Connecticut. She enjoyed many things in life, but the most of all was being able to take care of her loving family. Betty was a parishioner of St. James Church in Manchester. In addition to her husband Salvatore, Betty leaves behind two sons; Stephen Tine and his wife Pauline of South Glastonbury and Robert Tine of Manchester, a daughter; Sharon Gazdzicki and her husband Gary of Manchester, five grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great- grandchildren. In addition to Betty's parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Deborah (Tine) Rivera, daughter-in-law Kathi Tine, as well as her sister Shirley Jacobs Molloy and her husband Peter Molloy. Memorial services and burial will be private. Memorial contributions in memory of Betty may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
