Betty L. Mochon

Betty L. (McKay) Estey, Mochon, 82 of Manchester, wife of the late George Mochon and the late Arthur Estey, died peacefully Friday, June 2, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on August 31, 1934 in Houlton, ME, daughter of Russell and Jane (London) McKay. She lived most of her life in East Hartford, moving to Manchester in 1992. Prior to retiring Betty worked for First Brands Company in East Hartford for over fifteen years. She enjoyed many full years of retirement, was active at the Manchester Senior Center and attended St. Bridget Church in Manchester.
Betty is survived by three sons, William Estey and wife Nancy of Tolland, Richard Estey and wife Leigh of South Windsor, and Thomas Estey and wife Cheryl of Manchester; three grandchildren, William Manning, Amy Estey and husband Ezra, and Bethany Estey, and two great-grandchildren, Maddy and Maelee; her sister, Tessa Albert of Houlton, ME, several nieces and nephews in Maine and many good friends.
Services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Manchester Senior Center, 549 Middle Turnpike East, Manchester, CT 06040.
