Barbara Venezia

Barbara Venezia, 61 of Manchester beloved wife of Joseph A. Venezia and mother of John Cavallo of Manchester, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 10, 2106 with her family at her side at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Barbara was born October 30, 1954 in Hartford, daughter of the late Francesco and Wanda (Ingalls) Cavallo and resided in Manchester for most of her life. She loved to cook for family and was known for her brownies and meatballs. Her love to color was her relaxation and a passion. In addition to her husband and son, she is survived by two brothers Richard Cavallo of Hartford, Tom Zima of Rocky Hill, two sisters, Janet Steben and her husband, Arthur of Enfield, Louise DesJardins and her husband, Philip of Newington, many nieces, nephews, an aunt, uncle and cousins. Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 11 am at Holmes Funeral Home 400 Main St. Manchester. Burial will follow in West Meadow Cemetery Newington. Calling hours will be Tuesday, prior to the funeral service from 9:30 am to 11 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors' choice.
