Barbara Jeanne Pouliot

Barbara Jeanne Pouliot of Manchester transitioned with love surrounded by her family on March 8, 2024. Barbara is predeceased by her father Gerard Pouliot, her grandparents Germaine and Louis Breton and is survived by her mother Patricia Hight, her husband and partner of 35 years Franklin "Buddy" Davis, her daughters Ellina Soto of Puerto Rico, Denisha (Kendall) Barnes and Stephanie (Laticia) Grant of Manchester, CT, her grandchildren Jesus, Elianis, Preshice, Marlie, Harmony, Kingston, and Journie, her sisters Alicia (Greg) Houle and family of TX and Christina Pouliot and family of CT, her brothers Tim Hight and family of CT and Tracy Pouliot and family of MA. Barbara has a rich history in CT ranging from baking to property management. She was able to see things differently and make things happen. She was meticulous at cleaning and able to DIY any project which shows her distinct ability to make the world a better place. Her love for the beach started as a child with her meme and pepe and stayed a passion into her adulthood including her love for Old Orchard Beach and walking the cliffs with Buddy in Newport, RI. She is well known for her no-nonsense and direct way of calling things as she sees them. This approach has created many special bonds with friends who became family over the years. You always knew what you were getting with Barb and you always knew that she was a rock-solid support when you needed it. Her greatest legacy is her "family first" mentality that will live on through those who mattered most to her. We invite those that knew her and want to celebrate her life and energy to join us on Saturday, March 16th at Holmes Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main St, Manchester, CT. beginning at 9:30am.
