Barbara M. Anderson

Barbara M. Anderson, 92, a lifelong resident of Manchester passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017. Barbara was born in Manchester, December 4, 1924, daughter of the late Frank and Ann (Woods) Anderson. Prior to retiring she was employed at the Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance Company as a Human Resource Clerk. She was a longtime active member of Center Congregational Church. She was a sports enthusiast and was active in the Phoenix bowling and softball leagues. Barbara was preceeded in death by her two brothers Roger O. and Warren Anderson. She is survived by, two nieces, Susan Carroll and her husband Sydney of Wethersfield and their son Jason Roy, Jane Anderson of Nashville, TN; nephew David Anderson and his wife Carol as well as her many friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 10am at Center Congregational Church 11 Center Street Manchester. Burial will follow in East Cemetery, Manchester.
