Barbara Ann Gochee

Barbara Ann Gochee, 86 of Manchester, beloved wife of 68 years to Ward C. Gochee Sr. and mother of the late Ward C. Gochee Jr., passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Manchester Manor with her family at her side. Barbara was born in Manchester, January 23, 1931 to late John and Stella (Brozowski) Hampson and was a lifelong resident of Manchester. Her love of raising six children meant the world to her and to her husband, caring for family was her life. Barbara is survived by her husband, Ward, and loving family, daughter, Laurie and husband, Carl Formaggioni of Columbus, GA, son, Ronald and wife, Susan Gochee of Manchester, daughter, Linda and husband, John McDowell of Scituate, MA, son, William and wife, Deborah Gochee of Manchester, son, Mark and wife, Jennifer Gochee of Manchester, daughter-in-law, Laura Buchanan of Manchester, 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and son, she was predeceased by three brothers, Ronald Hampson, William Hampson, Jack Hampson and a sister, Janet (Midge) White.
