Barbara A. Finnegan, 93, of Enfield, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 18, 2026. Born on May 25, 1933, in Manchester, CT, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Amelia (White) Hennequin.

Barbara worked for many years in Human Resources at Bob’s Furniture. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman who took pride in her career and the people she worked with. Outside of work, Barbara enjoyed spending time on the water, especially boating with her beloved husband, the late Ronald Finnegan. Together, they enjoyed traveling and making memories, with favorite destinations including Sanibel Island, Myrtle Beach, and Newport. Barbara also loved spending time with family and friends. She found joy in cookouts, playing bingo, shopping trips, and attending her grandchildren’s recitals and sporting events.

Barbara will be deeply missed by her children, Michael Finnegan of East Windsor and Kathleen Davin and her husband, Pat Davin, of Brewster, MA; her grandchildren, Sean Finnegan; Cari Lee and her husband, Brady; Erika Davin and her wife, Alissa Avilov; Elizabeth and her husband, Andrew Gallinaro; and Jamie and his wife, Grace Davin; and her great-grandchildren, Hazel Lee and Brooks Lee; Juliet and Oliver Gallinaro; and Beau and Henry Davin. She will also be deeply missed by Corinne Finnegan, who was very dear to her. Barbara leaves behind numerous extended family members and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ronald Finnegan, and her brother, David Hennequin. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, November 7th at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Vernon. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
