Austeen Wilson

Austeen Wilson was born March 28, 1940 in Manchester Connecticut. She married young and worked hard all her life. Austeen retired from McKesson and Moore Medical in 2013. Shortly after retiring she was diagnosed with Parkinsons disease. She died Sunday November 24th, 2019. Austeen is survived by her Daughters Melonee Merritt, Lori Maynard and her husband James Maynard; her sons Glenn Wilson and Scott Wilson; and her grandchildren and their families David Gabel, Jason Gabel, James Merritt, Shayne Wilson and Lee Wilson. Her oldest son Harold Wilson Jr. passed away January 14th 2016. Austeen was loved by all who knew her. She greeted everyone she met with a kind word and a smile. She had a quick and sarcastic wit that she was completely unaware of. She had a way of saying something funny without even knowing she was being funny and that lifted the hearts of those around her. She was loved and will be deeply missed. Calling Hours will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 6-7 pm with a service to follow at the Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester, CT.
