Audrey A. Young

Audrey Ann Young (88) passed away peacefully at home of natural causes on March 12, 2025, in Manchester, CT. She was born on January 2, 1937, in Manhattan, NY, to John Antolik and Ida (Mcilveen).
In 1951, her family moved to Manchester, where she would later graduate from Manchester High School in 1954, marking the beginning of a new chapter as she embraced adulthood. Audrey's heart found its match in Frederick Young, and the two were united in marriage in 1957.
After a short career in business, she embraced the role of a full-time mother and homemaker with open arms. Her nurturing spirit was the cornerstone of the Young household, creating a warm and loving environment that nurtured her three sons and daughter. This included Thomas and his wife Mary, Mark and his wife Linda, David and Lisa.
Her love and guidance were a beacon for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, leaving an indelible mark on Tyler and his wife Catherine (and daughter Haven), Morganne, Shannon and her husband Steven, Brittne and her husband Jason (and sons Camden and Caleb), Andrew, Carter and his girlfriend Katie, and Julia and her fiancé Teddy. Audrey's legacy extends through her family, including her nieces Colleen and Barbara, and the many close friends whose lives she enriched.
Audrey was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Lisa, and her parents John and Ida.
The memory of Audrey will be cherished and celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her laughter, her kindness, and her unconditional love are the treasures she leaves behind, etched in the hearts of her family and friends. Audrey's journey through life was a testament to the enduring power of love and the beauty of a life well-lived.

Audrey's warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten. At the request of her family, services are private.
