Arnold Robert Sauer

Arnold R. Sauer, 73, of Bolton, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 at his home. He was born in Lebanon, CT. on March 4,1944.

Arnie was an Air Force Veteran that served in Vietnam. After working for the MBTA for 20 years, he retired to his Bolton home. He loved riding motorcycles, camping, and road trips. Most of all he loved his children, family, and friends.

Arnie is survived by his children, Christopher Sauer, Michael Sauer, Patrick Sauer and partner Meghan Hayes, and Susan Crean, as well as his grandchildren, Karliegh Yuskatis, Alyssa Delegorete, Hannah Crean, and Kaitlyn Crean. He also leaves behind his sisters, Jeannie and Tim Martin, Doris Stevenson, Rosemarie Pavlik, Wilma Kehaya and partner John Knight, Mary and Larry Falco; and his brothers, Bill and Nancy Sauer, Donnie and Patty Sauer, Fred and Mary Sauer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Arnie was preceeded by his parents, Elizabeth (Krause) Sauer, William Sauer, as well as his brothers Harry, Richard, and brother-in-law Roland Pavik.

Visiting hours for family and friends will be at Potter Funeral Home at 456 Jackson Street, Willimantic, CT. 06226 on Friday January 5th from 5pm-7pm. A memorial service will be at the Emanuel Lutheran Church at 60 Church Street, Manchester, CT. 06040 at 11am on Saturday January 6th. A reception will be held in the church basement following the service.
