Ann Marie T. 'Cookie' Lee

Ann Marie "Cookie" (Marandino) Lee, 73, of Vernon, formerly of Florida and Manchester beloved wife of 46 years of Walter E. Lee Sr. passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017. She was born on February 3, 1944 in Hartford daughter of the late Frank and Ruth (Lane) Marandino. Cookie was raised in Hartford, attended local schools and had resided in Manchester, Florida and Vernon. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as the cafeteria manager at Bennett Junior High School in Manchester for over 15 years. Cookie attended St. Bernard Church in Rockville. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and knitting but most of all she loved to be with her family. In addition to her husband Walt, she is survived by her four children and their families; Sharon (Lee) Cheeseman of Florida, Joseph Lee and his wife Leila and their children; Kayla and Jesse all of Tolland, Chief Walter Lee Jr. and his wife Keely and their children Katie and Fallon all of Ellington and Willow Ann (Lee) Tervo and her husband Brian and their children; Allison and Primrose all of Newburyport, MA. Cookie also leaves her brother Anthony Marandino of Florida and numerous nieces, nephews and their families and many wonderful friends. She was predeceased by her two brothers; Frank and John Marandino. Family and friends are welcome to attend a time of visitation at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main St. in Manchester on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 6-8 pm.
