Althea S. Wojcik, 84, beloved wife of Edward N. Wojcik passed away on Wednesday July 1, 2026, at Manchester Memorial Hospital surrounded by the love and support of her family after a short illness. She passed away at the same place in which her life began. Althea graduated from Manchester High School in 1959 and proceeded to work in phlebotomy and as a laboratory assistant at Hartford Hospital. She married Ed in September of 1964 and relocated to South Windsor where she raised her family. It was also where she devoted her life to taking care of her husband Ed for many years as he battled Multiple Sclerosis. She was a loving and supportive mother and grandmother who always wanted the best for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family, taking day trips, being outside, and being around colorful plants and flowers.

Althea is predeceased by her husband Ed, her parents Alfred and Ann Clough as well as her brother Eddie Clough. She leaves behind her daughter, Heather, and her son, Scott and her daughter in law Karen. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Nicholas (Jenna), Hannah, Jacob and Abigayle. She additionally leaves behind cousins Chuck Gill and Richard Clough. In lieu of flowers donations made be mailed to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society located at 1111 Cromwell Avenue, Suite 302C, Rocky Hill, CT.
