Alice Nancy Tompkins

Alice N. Tompkins, 91, of Willington, CT passed away on November 27, 2018. She was born on March 7, 1927 in Manchester, CT. Alice enjoyed listening to & dancing to country music, watching the Game Show Network and attending the Annual Strawberry Festival in St Pete. She was always involved in all social activities at her home, for the past 23 years, in Twin Gables Park, St. Petersburg FL. She also loved spending time in the summer here in CT with her family. What she enjoyed most of all, was helping out & greeting people at Gwen and Stanleys gym. She will be missed dearly by all staff, members and fighters at Bare Bones Boxing. Alice was predeceased by her husband Stanley Tompkins, Sr. and her oldest son Richard Mayer. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Emmons & her husband Wayne, sons Stanley, Jr. and his wife Gwen, Terry, and Larry & his wife Sandy; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind 4 sisters, Mildred Kos, Leone Matteson, Barbara Jones, and Ellie Bolduc.
