Alex Brian Reale

Alex Brian Reale, 18, of Manchester, survived by his loving mother, Lynn (Wiechniak) Ciottone and her husband, Jonathan Ciottone of Manchester; and his loving father, David A. Reale and his wife, Lina Reale of Manchester, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015. Also surviving is his sister, Jamie Reale of Manchester, step-brother, Jon Jr., his paternal grandmother, Anna Reale of Windsor Locks, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Alex was born September 8, 1996 in Hartford, raised in Manchester and was due to graduate in June with the Senior Class of 2015 at Manchester High School, where he was an honor student, and looking forward to attending the University of Connecticut in the fall. Alex was a beloved young man who touched everyone with his sweet smile. He was kind to everyone he met, polite, smart, talented and loving. He was an avid and accomplished guitar player, an editor of his school newspaper; The Harbinger, loved the New York Yankees and was a big UCONN Husky fan. Growing up, Alex played in the Manchester Little League and the Manchester Soccer Club and he took up boxing at the Manchester Ring of Champions. A piece of our hearts will forever be missing without him. Family and friends are invited to attend memorial calling hours on Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at Watkins Funeral Home 142 East Center Street Manchester.
