Albert E. Bray

Albert E. Bray, 91 of Coventry, loving husband for sixty six years of Audrey M. (Bourgeois) Bray, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Manchester Memorial Hospital.
Albert was born in Manchester on June 18, 1925, son of Albert F. and Victoria J. (Bartley) Bray and was a lifelong resident of Coventry. He taught elementary school in Lebanon for many years, and grew and sold Christmas trees in his later years. He was a lifelong member of the Second Congregational Church of Coventry, a Mason, and enjoyed reading and spending time outdoors.
With his wife, he is survived by three children, Robert W. Bray of Coventry, Jo-Ann M. Bray of Coventry, and Patricia I. Carr and her husband Jim of Tampa, FL, and two grandchildren, Rebecca Dennis and James Carr.
A visiting time for family and friends will be held Monday, June 19, from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Manchester with a prayer service at 5 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
