Aina Livija Kiselis, 93, of Sterling, MA, formerly of Manchester, beloved wife of 64 years to Vincent Kiselis passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017. Aina was born in Ogre, Latvia October 3, 1923, daughter of the late Janis and Emilija (Blau) Purlicis. She attended nursing school in Amsterdam, Holland then came to the United States and settled in Manchester in 1962 and worked as a nurse's aide in Hartford and at Manchester Memorial Hospital for several years. She was a member of the American Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Ilze Kiselis and her husband, David J. Carter of Lancaster, MA, nieces and a nephew in Florida and Latvia. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister and two brothers. Funeral service will be Friday, September 1, 2017 at 11am at American Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church 21 Garden Street Manchester. Burial will follow in East Cemetery Manchester. A calling hour will be Friday, from 10am to 11am at the church prior to the funeral service.
